Wholesale prices fall as strong as ever
Scrap metal, steel, grain, gasoline has become significantly cheaper. This gives the wholesale price index the largest decline since 1948.

Statistics Austria calculated the wholesale price index since October 1948. By May 2009 the value of 105.4, compared to April is an increase of 0.2 percent.
